Maigret a soudcv dm – CDmp3 (te Jan Vlask)

This Czech-language audiobook presents a Maigret investigation read by Jan Vlask. A report of a body seen in the house of a former judge is a gift from heaven for the famous detective, who has been appointed chief inspector in the provincial town of Luon, much to his disappointment. He immediately travels to the coastal village of Aiguil, inhabited mainly by fishermen and mussel farmers, and begins investigating at the surprisingly luxurious villa of the Forlacroix family. His task is to identify both the murderer and the victim. Can he penetrate the closed community, uncover its long-buried secrets and unravel the strange relationships between the old judge, his hot-tempered son Albert and his daughter Lza, who suffers from nymphomania? In this skilfully constructed story, filled with an oppressive atmosphere, Maigret once again has the opportunity to demonstrate his knowledge of the darkest corners of the human mind and his ability to look beneath the surface of events.
