Mrtv due nezpvaj – 2 CDmp3 (te Igor Bare)

This Czech-language audiobook follows Carl Mrck after he leaves the police and struggles to adapt to his new role as a writer. When an unknown woman contacts him with a disturbing recording, its contents shed light on a supposedly closed case from several years earlier, giving Department Q a reason to welcome the return of the former investigative ace. Meanwhile, Rose and Assad try to convince their superiors that their unusual unit still has an indispensable place in Copenhagens police force. The arrival of Helena, a Danish-French specialist in organised crime, makes matters more complicated: Assad is unsettled by the strong and determined police officer, while Rose, dealing with health problems, sees her as dangerous competition and possibly even the commanders informant. Neither knows that their new colleague is hiding a dark secret. After ten novels, Jussi Adler-Olsen entrusts the successful Scandinavian crime series to the writing duo Line Holm and Stine Bolther. In the eleventh Department Q case, they offer a chilling account of how far childhood bullying can lead.
