Dobe odtajnn Miroslav Hornek – 3 CD mp3

This Czech-language three-disc audiobook collection commemorates the centenary of Miroslav Horneks birth with familiar, previously released recordings alongside forgotten and previously unreleased material. Apart from a few curious exceptions, Hornek appears as an actor, host, clown and performer of his own texts. The selection includes previously released titles as well as newly issued gems such as Zavinil to bubnek and Nocturn, in which he guides, comments on and drives the action. Several versions of some recordings are included, including Pedscny with Jan Werich and Horneks own text Chvla pohybu. The collection also features recordings of several Semafor Theatre productions starring Hornek, unknown versions of previously released programmes and previously unpublished recitals. It concludes with a collage by Robert Tamchyna, assembled from various sound excerpts to form a kind of biography of the celebrated performer.
