Boena – Romn o prvn esk spisovatelce, kter se stala legendou – CDmp3 (te Tatiana Dykov)

This Czech-language audiobook presents the life of Boena Nmcov, the first Czech woman writer to become a legend, based on real records, correspondence and surviving recollections. First developed as the successful miniseries Boena, written by Hana Wlodarczykov with Martina Komrkov, the story portrays an exceptionally perceptive, intelligent and gifted woman who dreamed and lived intensely, and whose opinions and actions seem to place her two centuries ahead of her time. At seventeen, Bra is married by her parents to Josef Nmec, a much older border-guard official who rejects his wifes free-spirited nature despite his own progressive views. Through him, she meets Czech patriots, discovers her literary talent and becomes Boena. Their turbulent relationship brings together two strong and very different personalities. Her life is marked by romantic affairs, poverty, constant moving, marital disputes, the death of her son and illness. Tatiana Dykov narrates this portrait of the difficult circumstances in which Nmcov created her celebrated works, with a prologue by Vojtch Dyk.
