Zvrolka opt v jednom kole Herriot James (2026)

The Second World War is over, and James is gradually returning to Darrowby, to his family, friends and everyday routine. His veterinary practice remains as demanding and exhausting as ever, yet it is indispensable and filled with love for every living, four-legged creature. In the charming Yorkshire countryside, where green plains and winding roads meet passes and valleys, we once again encounter the beloved characters in Herriots life: his companion Siegfried Farnon, Siegfrieds younger brother Tristan, Jamess wife Helen, their spirited son Jimmy and, soon, their daughter Rosie. Readers around the world have already taken James Herriots stories to heart in books including It Shouldnt Happen to a Vet, Let Sleeping Vets Lie and The Lord God Made Them All. This captivating new volume of memories is filled with the authors distinctive humor, perspective and wisdom. It offers warm-hearted stories from the life of a veterinarian in the English county of Yorkshire. His works have also inspired the British television series All Creatures Great and Small, which has so far received five seasons and is also available on Czech Television. More than eighty million copies of Herriots books have been sold worldwide.
