Zvltn znamen touha – CD

This CD returns to the iconic recording of Czech tramp music by Hoboes, featuring songs by brothers Wabi and Miki Ryvola. The original 16 tracks are joined by 13 bonuses, creating a 29-song collection of timeless pieces shaped by First Republic-era tramping tradition, echoes of the Liberated Theatre, unusual guitar swing elements and memorable, highly singable lyrics. The recording features former band members Jarka Vrbov, Marcela Kotkov and Jindich Pedro Pitra, along with studio guests including Ivan, Vojta and Eva Zich and Bohumil Skora. Recorded in the folk- and country-friendly surroundings of Czech Radio esk Budjovice, the album is complemented in this expanded reissue by Frantiek Hemans photographs in a new design. Sound and graphic reconstruction enhance the release, while the songs remain unforgettable. The 13 bonuses, selected by Mirek ern, extend the collection through 2006. The contents are in Czech.
