Zuba Sullivan Tim (2022)

George Cross is an eccentric man who is not easy to get along with. Yet his obsession with logic, details and systems also makes him an excellent detective, which does little to increase his popularity with colleagues or superiors. When a homeless man is found murdered, Cross takes an interest in the case, perhaps because he too is an outsider. When links emerge between the dead man and an old unsolved case, his interest deepens, and suspicious mistakes and flaws in the original investigation soon come to light. The Dentist is the first book in a new crime series featuring the essential ingredients of a good detective story: an eccentric protagonist, an intriguing plot, a fast pace and a touch of humour.
