Zti van der Wouden Yael (2025)

It is 1961, and the Dutch rural province of Overijssel is peaceful. The bomb craters have been filled, the buildings rebuilt and the war is truly over. Isabel lives alone in her late mothers country house, and her life is exactly as it should be: governed by routine and discipline. Everything changes, however, when her brother Louis brings his new girlfriend Eva to Isabels doorstep as a guest who is supposedly staying for the season. This novel is in Czech.
