Zima Josef – Pop galerie – CD

A new selection of songs by Josef Zma presents him not only as the uncrowned king of Czech brass-band and folk music, but also as an important interpreter of popular music. His natural, romantic tenor is heard in songs by Leopold Korba, Such and litr, Bohuslav Ondrek, Jaromr Vomka, Ji Traxler and Petr Hapka, as well as in famous film and musical melodies. The collection includes Blues pro Tebe, Hm, hm, Hebnek, Let p, Bl vrna, O mamince, Pepk and Si si si signorina, together with carefully chosen cover versions. It is both a valuable musical document and a selection of pleasant songs showcasing a versatile singer with extensive acting experience.
