This illustrated geography atlas is primarily intended as a teaching aid for geography within the People and Nature educational area, according to the Czech curriculum provisions for educating pupils with mild intellectual disabilities. It can also be widely used when teaching history within the People and Society educational area. The geography section contains general and political maps of the Czech Republic and its regions, Europe and its regions, the world and the continents. The history section includes maps of the Czech lands from the sixth to the ninth centuries, Great Moravia in the ninth century, the Czech lands in the thirteenth century, the Czech lands in the fourteenth and early fifteenth centuries, the Hussite period, the Czech lands at the end of the fifteenth and beginning of the sixteenth centuries, the Czech lands and the formation of the Habsburg monarchy, the dissolution of Austria-Hungary and the creation of new states in 1918, Czechoslovakia after Munich, the Second World War in Europe, Czechoslovakia from 1960 to 1989, important voyages of discovery, and colonies in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
