After losing her parents, Tamara moves in with her grandparents, where she finds good friends as well as an enemy who increasingly makes her high-school life miserable. She also experiences her first love, which briefly takes her into a world of youthful joys. Her friend Jarka stands by her and defends her, until a malicious classmate reveals a secret from her recent past that was meant to remain buried forever. Tamara struggles with herself and tries in every way to face the threats, but fear can sometimes be stronger than a clear conscience. Meanwhile, someone else faces daily terror behind closed doors, compared with which school bullying seems almost insignificant. Or does it? Each character has their own emotions and experiences their troubles in their own way. Being a teenager with a broken soul is far from easy. The novel is in Czech.
