Vrada ve mln – CDmp3 (Filip Jank)

A naked mans body hangs from the wheel of an abandoned watermill. Newly appointed Inspector Haze must leave a Christmas ball and begin investigating the brutal murder of Frank Darrow, a man who left more wounds in those around him than are visible at first glance. His death leaves behind not only an empty place but also a host of questions. Who hated him so much that death alone was not enough? What did the life of this notorious drunkard and seducer conceal? With the help of the American nobleman and surgeon Jason Redmond, Inspector Haze must unravel complicated relationships, secrets and old grievances. Yet crime is not the only shadow falling over Birch Hill. The case reveals the face of the local society and changes both investigators lives forever.
