Vra: Jak ji najt, t a zachovat Gilbert Guy (2019)

This small book contains a wealth of ideas. In short chapters, Guy Gilbert writes intensely about what faith truly is. He discusses fascination with the world as the first step towards contemplation, everyday holiness and love as the fundamental expression of faith. He also speaks openly about doubt, the dark nights of the soul and suffering, which do not deny faith but strengthen it. He asks whether miracles, such as healing, are necessary for faith, and considers prayer and reading Scripture as means of living a life of faith, as well as community and how to speak about faith with others. Guy Gilbert is a well-known French priest and educator of young offenders. The book is in Czech.
