Vetky farby temnoty (slovensky) (2026)

This psychological thriller, with its unique twists, is set in 1975. Patch is a one-eyed teenager who wears a black patch across his face and carries a powerful sword at his belt. His only friend is thirteen-year-old Saint, who lives with her grandmother. In the small town of Monta Clare, Missouri, where everyone knows everyone else, they both seem to have a clear future ahead: school, work and growing old together. Everything changes when an unknown man attacks the daughter of a wealthy local family. Patch unexpectedly becomes a hero, unaware that this flash of courage will change the course of his entire life, and not only his. Chris Whitakers carefully crafted novel is not merely about tragedy, but especially about what happens afterwards. With its distinctive lyrical style, this unusual story slowly explores characters across decades and genres, and is sure to send shivers down the readers spine. The book is in Slovak.
