Vesel slabik – Psmenka a bsniky pro kluky a holiky (2021)

This cheerful Czech-language primer opens up the world of the Czech language to children in a colorful and appealing way. It introduces different letters that can represent sounds, while words containing each sound help children remember the written form and discover the world through the alphabet. Children can practise everything with a poem rooted in Czech folk tradition, which they can read or learn to recite with their parents; the particular letter is highlighted in the poem as well. The primer also includes curious questions and cheerful pictures. At the end, children find the complete alphabet, which they can copy, cut out and use to build their own words.
