V nemilosti Steel Danielle (2020)

Her life is turned upside down, but she finds the strength to rise from rock bottom. When her husband dies, Sydney Wells suddenly loses her peaceful, charming life. At forty-nine, she becomes a widow and discovers that her husband has left her out of his will. His assets fall under the control of her stepdaughters, who drive her out of the house where she has lived for sixteen years. Despite her own daughters advice against it, Sydney returns to the fashion world, where she worked as a promising young designer many years earlier. Yet danger hides behind her seemingly innocent decisions. Naive and lonely, she finds herself in the ruthless fashion industry. Not only does her boss exploit her, but she eventually also faces criminal prosecution. Humiliated, publicly disgraced and abandoned, Sydney reaches rock bottom. She has two choices: give up or start again. She realizes that if she wants a successful career she can be proud of, she must take control of her life. The book is in Czech.
