Upgrade 7 – Teachers book (2026)

This teachers book accompanies a new English course for the second stage of primary schools and the lower grades of multi-year grammar schools. The materials are based on the communicative method and develop all four language skills evenly, while also extensively practising language structures and contemporary usage. Topics relevant to students age, colourful illustrations, project ideas, games and new-media-style videos such as vlogs help maintain motivation. The Compass section in each lesson adds further interesting information about the topic and connects the material with students lives, other school subjects and the world outside school. The course also reflects the Czech Education Policy Strategy through 2030+ and its emphasis on developing key competencies for the sustainable development of society.
