Upgrade 6 – Workbook A1+ RVP (2026)

This English workbook is part of the Upgrade teaching series for the second stage of Czech primary schools and the lower grades of multi-year grammar schools. The series takes into account the Czech Education Policy Strategy through 2030+, which emphasizes the development of key competences critical to the sustainable development of society in the coming decades of the twenty-first century. Based on the communicative method, the materials develop all language skills evenly. The workbook newly includes exercises focused on mediation, one of the four communication skills defined in the revised RVP. Upgrade 6 reaches a final difficulty level slightly above A1+, while the complete Upgrade series follows the revised RVP and aims towards an exit level of B1.
