tycholov 2

This trick-taking card game is played over eight rounds, with the aim of catching as many tricks as possible. Every card in a trick is worth one point, while the cards caught in one round become your hand for the following rounds. If you fail to catch enough cards, you replenish your hand with stronger cards from the so-called ocean deck. The winner is the player with the most points, but the game also asks how many new ocean cards you need to achieve them. This second edition introduces new buoy-card effects, reduces the starting card colours to two, and adds trumps in two further colours that change during the game. Pufferfish have also been added: they always follow suit, have high values and are passed to the weakest player in the trick. The game is for 35 players, lasts about 60 minutes and includes Czech rules.
