Tuten malej princ – Mal princ konen i v plzetin Bev Daniel (2026)

The Little Prince finally appears in the Plze dialect, taking the familiar story into the streets and speech of Plze. The beloved book by French writer and pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupry has been translated into more than 350 languages and dialects. Book collector Martina Dlabajov decided to transfer this gentle tale into the Plze dialect, in which every sentence has its own humour, energy and honesty. Translators Daniel Bev, a social geographer, and French interpreter Anna Maurin helped with the work, while Nika Kulik provided the illustrations. The contents are in Czech, rendered in the local dialect. The book offers both locals and visitors a new perspective on a familiar story: newcomers can learn about the dialect, experts can deepen their knowledge, and everyone can enjoy the unusual viewpoint.
