Travis Sheridan Mia (2023)

Travis Hales past is filled with regrets, but his future seems limitless. He is the police chief in idyllic Pelion, Maine, where women regularly fall at his feet and his family has mostly forgiven his mistakes. Then he meets Haven Torres, the smoothie-making, birdseed-eating sister of a newcomer who has crossed him. Havens life has fallen apart, so she sets off with her brother on a cross-country summer adventure, hoping to catch the attention of Pelions most eligible bachelor before they leave. After Travis tells her about her brothers scandalous misdeed, she decides that their stay in Pelion should be brief. Still, she and Travis form an unlikely friendship: she will help him make her brother sweat, while he helps her win over Gage. As Haven sees the man beneath Traviss brooding exterior and he sees the woman beneath her turmoil, their simple arrangement becomes complicated. Haven refuses to be tied to Pelion, while Travis has vowed never to be second best again.
