Timeline 1971-2017 – 2 CD

This two-CD compilation presents 26 tracks recorded across more than fifty years of Lubo Andrts exceptional blues-rock and jazz guitar career. The selection focuses on the blues-rock and more electric side of his work, balancing instrumental pieces with collaborations featuring outstanding singers. It includes his contribution to the then strongly rock-oriented Jazz Q led by Martin Kratochvl, several stages of Andrts fusion group Energitu, guitar highlights from his solo album Capricornus, and work with Michal Prokop and Framus Five, the Blues Band with Peter Lipa, Marta Kubiov, American vocalists based temporarily in the Czech Republic, and Honza Holeek. Together, the recordings showcase the quality and breadth of Andrts talents as a guitarist, composer, arranger and bandleader.
