Throne of Khetara: His Face is the Sun Corpora Michelle Jabes (2025)

Ancient Egyptian mythology meets epic fantasy in a story of rebellion, monsters, murder and desire. The kingdom of Khetara faces an uncertain future as its gilded royal court revels in decadence and ignores the civil unrest threatening to spread through the rural southern lands. The pharaoh is dying, and an inevitable storm of change is gathering. In the golden capital, royal princess Sitamun is caught in a web of sensuality, deceit and murder as her older brother Meryamun hungers for power and excess. Their younger brother, Bakenamun, rejects his royal heritage and seeks refuge in a sacred temple and the ancient knowledge it contains. Unbeknownst to the royal heirs, Neff, a young girl haunted by prophetic, blood-drenched dreams, holds the key to their destinies. In the south, farmers daughter Raetawy resists the pharaohs oppressive rule and inspires an army. Meanwhile, in the depths of the desert, tomb-raider Karim uncovers a long-buried secret and awakens the monster within. When the bloodshed ends, who will sit on the throne? Told through multiple viewpoints, this is the beginning of an epic trilogy.
