The Living Dead : A masterpiece of zombie horror Romero George A. (2021)

A horror work from the Godfather of zombie filmmaking, George A. Romero, and celebrated writer Daniel Kraus begins with one body, when two medical examiners face a dead man who refuses to stay dead. The outbreak spreads quickly: in a Midwestern trailer park, an African American teenage girl and a Muslim immigrant fight newly risen friends and family; on a US aircraft carrier, living sailors hide from the dead while a fanatic preaches a new religion of death; at a cable news station, a surviving anchor continues broadcasting without knowing whether anyone is watching as his undead colleagues try to devour him; and in Washington, DC, an autistic federal employee charts the outbreak and preserves data for a future that may never come. Everywhere, both the living and the dead target the survivors.
