The Elusive Samurai 2 Macui Jsei (2022)

In medieval Japan, eight-year-old Hojo Tokiyuki is the heir to the Kamakura shogunate. But the Hojo clan is in decline, and Tokiyukis peaceful days of playing hide-and-seek with his teachers end abruptly when his clan is betrayed from within. The sole survivor of his family, Tokiyuki is the rightful heir to power, but to reclaim it he must do what he does bestrun away. Now hiding in Suwa under Yorishiges protection, Tokiyuki adopts the identity of Chojumaru, an apprentice at Suwa Grand Shrine. When Ogasawara Sadamune, governor of Shinano and a vassal of the usurper Takauji, arrives at the shrine for a sporting event, he is not merely looking to win. If Sadamune discovers any Hojo refugees, he will have free rein to take over Suwa completely. Believing that the best place to hide Tokiyuki is in plain sight, Yorishige sends him onto the field to face Sadamune.
