Tenhle vtr jsem ml rd – CD

This CD is a jubilee reissue of Lubo Pospils solo debut, a significant 1983 album that remains worthy of being called the record of its season even four decades after its original release. Many of its songs are still part of Pospils concert repertoire, to the genuine delight of audiences. His work with C&K Vocal was important, while his subsequent move into a solo career was a logical step. As the principal composer, working here with lyricist Ladislav Kantor, he created a distinctive type of rock singer-songwriter. His unmistakable voice complements strong melodies and poetic lyrics that never lose contact with listeners. Ota Petina also played a major role through his compositional, instrumental and bandleading work. The CD includes the bonus track Lsko, lsko…, an eight-minute piece that clearly points towards Pospils future solo career. The tracklist comprises Tenhle vtr jsem ml rd, Kniha mjen, Ten zcela tvj zpsob, Vn hran pedfilm v Bio Lska, Sbratel, Lta jsem ml rd velk holky, Moe, Matjsk, Mlen strom, vnk a ek, Povst o zrozen kosa, Vzpomnka na jednu venkovskou tancovaku r. 1966 and Lsko, lsko….
