Team Deutsch 3 (B1) Kursbuch + 2CD (2017)

This German-language coursebook offers a modern and effective learning method with a clear structure, steady progression, varied exercises, attractive design, youthful illustrations, engaging colours, current topics close to young people, authentic texts and lively language. It contains 12 lessons, each eight pages long, introduced by a page summarising the lesson objectives and concluded by Im Team, featuring projects, games and suggestions for group work. Vocabulary and grammar are presented in the Baukasten section on each right-hand page. After every six lessons, Fertigkeitstraining provides targeted practice in listening, reading, speaking and writing. The accompanying workbook contains varied exercises for consolidating the material, as well as Meine Grammatik and Mein Wortschatz sections for independent review. After every two lessons, Meilenstein offers a playful test of what students have learned and records their progress. A grammar overview at the end of the workbook provides a further review of the rules. The two audio CDs contain all the listening texts from the coursebook and workbook and support listening-comprehension practice. The teachers guide includes sample lesson plans, tests for each lesson, transcripts of all listening texts, answer keys and photocopiable supplementary materials for teaching cultural topics.
