Team Deutsch 2 (A2) Kursbuch + 2CD (2017)

Team Deutsch offers a modern and effective approach to learning German, with a clear structure, steady progression, varied exercise types, attractive graphic design, a youthful illustration style, vibrant colours, current topics relevant to young people, authentic texts and lively language. The coursebook contains 12 lessons, each eight pages long and focused on contemporary themes close to young learners. Each lesson begins with an introductory page summarising its aims and ends with an Im Team page featuring projects, games and suggestions for group work. Vocabulary and grammar are presented in the Baukasten section on every right-hand page. After every six lessons, Fertigkeitstraining provides targeted practice of individual language skills, including listening, reading, speaking and writing. The workbook contains varied exercises for consolidating the material. Each lesson ends with Meine Grammatik and Mein Wortschatz sections for independent revision of grammar and vocabulary, while the Meilenstein page after every two lessons offers a playful way to test newly acquired knowledge and record progress. The two audio CDs contain all the listening texts from the coursebook and workbook and support listening comprehension practice. A teachers guide provides sample lesson plans, tests for each lesson, transcripts of all listening texts, answer keys and additional photocopiable materials for teaching about German-speaking countries and culture.
