Sycorax Nydia Hetherington (2026)

Born of the sun and moon and shaped by fire and illness, Sycorax is a seer, sage and sorceress whose story has never been told. An outcast, alone in the world, she must learn to understand her true nature. As her powers grow, so do the suspicions of the townspeople, for knowledge can be dangerous, and a womans knowledge more dangerous still. With a great storm gathering on the horizon, Sycorax faces increasing peril. Will her powers save her, or bring about the end of them all? This moving novel imagines what came before Shakespeares The Tempest and is written by the author of A Girl Made of Air.
