Sudetsk dm III (2026)

For almost ten years, Frantiek Smolk has been separated from his family by the barbed wire of prison. While Jarmila must cope alone with caring for her family in Skle, who remain under constant persecution by the Communists, Frantiek slowly loses hope that he will ever see them again. But times are changing, and the atmosphere in society is beginning to ease. Political prisoners are gradually being released and returning to their homes. Yet returning to ordinary life is full of pitfalls, and old injustices cannot simply be forgotten. This powerful final installment takes readers once more to the mountain village of Skle and the lives of its heroes. The book is in Czech.
