Sportovn hry v teorii a praxi (2026)

This publication is intended for bachelors and masters students of physical education, physical education teachers, sports-games coachesespecially those working with children and young peopleas well as parents, professionals and organizers of coaching courses. It focuses on teaching and training in sports games, with examples of how the presented knowledge can be applied in practice. Sports games are introduced as a sociocultural phenomenon, with attention to the importance of educational, psychosocial and physiological aspects in teaching and training. A systematic overview of six traditional sports games is complemented by diagrams of methodological and organizational forms and examples of training sessions. Chapters on motor and functional preparation and teaching styles in sports games offer significant practical applications. The final chapter addresses sports games in adapted physical and sporting activities for people with physical and mental disabilities.
