Smd (slovensky) (2026)

This Slovak-language crime novel brings Harry Hole back. In Oslo, a woman is found dead in her own apartment, with marks from an iron bite on her neck and her body drained of blood. The investigative team is led by Katrine Brattov. The murders point to vampirism, a phenomenon viewed controversially by many criminal psychologists. More victims appear, but they share one connection: all the women were active on an online dating site. Harry Hole has enjoyed a peaceful family life for three years and passes on his experience to aspiring investigators at the police academy. Fate forces him back into the case, where he creates a parallel investigative team. He alone sees another motive behind the brutal murders. Is the killer really a vampire?
