Sedm na okraji planiny a dvm se dol na moe (2026)

This Czech-language memoir follows Ji Pauzar, an ordinary man from the South Bohemian countryside who is the son of a carpenter, an ecologist, a farmer and a father. With remarkable openness, he chronicles a life shaped by a harsh childhood, complicated relationships, divorces, Indian dust, Cambodian minefields and solitude on a farm. He writes about fighting for his children in court while coping with a diseased heart and exhaustion. Whenever he returns in memory to these moments, music accompanies him. The soundtrack to his extraordinary life includes Pink Floyd, Karel Kryl, Radza, Tom Petty, George Harrison and quiet Tibetan mantras, with QR codes linking to the individual songs.
