SEAL-DO Washi Tape – Shinzi Katoh – The Nighthawk Star II – 27mm

Shinzi Katoh is a picture book author, illustrator, and designer for everyday lifestyle items such as shoes, clothes, jewelry, and stationery. Here, Katoh has taken the works of novelist and children’s poetry writer Kenji Miyazawa and spun them into the fantastical scenes that you see unravelling on this beautiful washi tape. This washi tape is inspired by “Yodaka no Hoshi,” a story about an ugly nighthawk who is mocked by the other birds and is later transformed into a star.
