Satanovo jaro – Zloin u pelhimovskch anc L.P. MDCXCI (2026)

The second volume in the historical detective series featuring Jok Bukovsk takes readers from the walls of Pelhimov far across the ocean. In 1691, a troupe of travelling performers is massacred in Pelhimov almost before the eyes of spectators, with only the actress playing Columbine surviving. She hides with the squire Jok Bukovsk, who is charged with solving not only this crime but also a series of murders committed against women in the surrounding area. In a harsh yet lyrical story full of adventure and evocative atmosphere, the author portrays the psychology of a sadistic killer, explores contemporary investigative methods, folk customs and historical details, and leads readers beyond Pelhimov to various corners of Europe and America of the period.
