Salto Mortale – LP

This is a new vinyl reissue of Salto Mortale, Arakains fourth studio album, originally released in 1993. After more than thirty years, the landmark album returns in a new remaster, released on CD and digitally as well as on vinyl for the first time. Produced by Milo Dodo Doleal, the album marked a significant move towards a more modern, heavier heavy-metal sound and became one of the pillars of the Czech metal scene of the 1990s. The new remaster from SONO Records highlights its energy, dynamics, and sophisticated arrangements without losing the character of the original recording. Salto Mortale includes songs that became firmly established in the history of the band and Czech rock, particularly Zase sp v noci sama and Marilyn, as well as the title track and Brna iluz. Ale Brichtas powerful vocals, the characteristic guitars of Ji Urban and Miroslav Mach, and the solid rhythm section of Zdenk Kub and Marek eulka still demonstrate why the album is regarded as one of the peaks of Arakains work. The reissue is intended for longtime fans and a new generation of listeners discovering an important chapter in Czech metal, while its vinyl debut makes this edition a collectors release. The tracklist is Brna iluz, Ultraparoh, Rm kivejch zrcadel, Zase sp v noci sama, Kleptoman, Gambler, Jen jednou, Salto Mortale, Marilyn, and Strnem.
