Rny – LP

This album by Zuzana Michnov and Michal Pavlek, originally recorded in 1985, returns to vinyl. Michnov, an exceptional lyricist who also composed two of the songs, builds on her important years with Marsyas, while multi-instrumentalist, arranger and principal composer Pavlek gives the material the form of truly modern, genre-crossing music. Supported by drummers and percussionists, especially Klaudius Krypn, as well as Ji Hrube and Zelenka, the songs gain momentum, while the improved studio technology of the time contributes to a still luxurious sound. The album has now been enhanced by a new remaster by Pavel Karlk at Sono studio. Its ten songs are the result of a collaboration between two strong personalities, both personally and musically, and belong among the legendary albums of the second half of the 1980s. The tracklist is: Zapomenout, Jednou v ivot, U je pry, Rny, Anonym, Chce tisc vc, Lucrezia Borgia, Sen o konch, Obraz v psku and m se li.
