Rival (Fall Away #2) Douglasov Penelope (2016)

Madoc and Fallon are two estranged teenagers playing games that push the boundaries between love and war. After three years away at boarding school, Fallon returns without explanation. When they lived in the same house, she cut Madoc down during the day and left her door open for him at night. He was foolish then, but now he is ready to beat her at her own game. Fallon can still tell that Madoc wants her, even while he acts superior, but she refuses to be frightened away or pushed down. She will call his bluff and fight back, while keeping her guard up so he never knows how deeply he affects her. The second book in the Fall Away series is an intense and sensual young adult romance praised by readers for its emotional force, gripping pace and compelling twist on the bad-boy-meets-good-girl story.
