Pt my – Psniky pro dti – CD

This CD presents a selection of childrens songs composed and recorded by Petr Skoumal, suitable for both young and older listeners. Skoumal set hundreds of songs to texts by Emanuel Frynta, Pavel rut, Jan Vodansk, Frantiek Halas and Zdenk Svrk, many of which became popular childrens songs. The recordings were originally released between 1991 and 1999 in collections including Kdyby prase mlo kdla, Jak se lov gorila, Peivo, Pbhy velch medvdk, Kdy jde mal bobr spt, Kampak b, jeku? and Dejte mi pastelku. This edition, named after the song Pt my, brings together legendary songs known to several generations, performed mostly by Petr Skoumal or his friends. Their witty texts and distinctive performances combine humour with a poetic, playfully absurd style.
