Promna a jin povdky Kafka Franz (2022)

One day, Gregor Samsa, a young and hardworking traveling salesman whose salary supports his entire family, wakes up to discover that he has changed into some kind of repulsive insect, and that strange sounds rather than ordinary words come from his mouth. Unfortunately, his mind remains human, so he must gradually watch his closest family members grow distant. Alongside The Metamorphosis, probably Franz Kafkas most famous story and an inspiration for the acclaimed horror film The Fly, this book contains other equally accomplished works, including The Judgment, In the Penal Colony and the originally separate collection Brief Stories to His Father, which also includes the well-known tale A Country Doctor. The book is in Czech.
