When free-spirited small-time con artist Randle P. McMurphy arrives at a state psychiatric hospital, his infectious resistance to discipline shakes up the institutions rigid routine. On one side of the coming battle is McMurphy; on the other stands the polished, coldly monstrous Nurse Ratched. The fate of every patient on the ward is at stake. This electrifying adaptation of Ken Keseys bestseller won all five major Academy Awards for 1975: Best Picture, Actor, Actress, Director and Adapted Screenplay. The fierce, intense film features an outstanding cast including Brad Dourif, Danny DeVito and Christopher Lloyd in his debut.
