Pekvapiv nadje Wright N. T. (2018)

This well-known book by leading Anglican theologian N. T. Wright explores the biblical question of what happens after we die and what this means for our lives here and now. Against the widespread belief among believers and non-believers alike that after death we go to heaven, it presents the biblical teaching of resurrection, the coming of Gods kingdom and renewed creation. This original Christian perspective on eternity has a fundamental influence on how we live in the present world. N. T. Wright (born 1948) is one of todays leading Christian authors. Until 2010, he served as a bishop in the Anglican Church, after which he was appointed professor of New Testament at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where he continues to work. In his books, he offers fresh theological thinking grounded in a profound knowledge of biblical texts, bringing the essence of the biblical message and Christian faith closer to general readers.
