Panna Marie od Sedmi zlodj Sichinger Martin (2024)

In July 1984, Marie escapes from a psychiatric hospital in Dobany to return, at least for a while, to her home in the umava highlands. At the same time, Vimperk police sergeant Sejkora is ordered to investigate the nearly forgotten case of the last free farmer in the district, who runs a farm in the isolated countryside. What secrets will their meeting uncover, and what wrongs will it bring back to light? This novel by Martin Sichinger, an author from Vimperk, tells a story of injustice in the foothills of the umava. The book is in Czech.
