Pan uitel Sovika – Prvn ten pro mal kolky (2024)

This Czech-language first-reading book takes young readers to an animal school where a new teacher has just started. The owl teacher has some unusual methods, teaches well and is great fun, although he sometimes makes his pupils hop on one leg while reciting multiplication tables. Another story introduces Buba, the least popular elephant firefighter in Mokr Lhota. The entertaining original Czech stories are intended for beginning readers, and the large letters help them find their way through the text.
