Paleka – Esej o digitln revoluci Serres Michel (2019)

This Czech-language essay explores how the experience of the young generation represented by Little Thumb differs radically from that of its parents and teachers. Living in symbiosis with new technologies, this generation enjoys unprecedentedly easy access to information while becoming independent of existing authorities and the current passive model of education. Philosopher Michel Serres compares todays technological revolution with the emergence of writing and the invention of printing, both of which fundamentally changed how society functions. He criticises modern sciences attachment to abstraction and outlines a vision of development based on algorithms and codes. His passionate defence of the younger generation, delivered at the French Academy, became a bestseller in France.
