Oxford Bookworms Library 6 Night Without End (New Edition) MacLean Alistair (2007)

This Stage 6 English-language reader follows a deadly mystery on the polar ice cap, 640 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. Survivors of a crashed airliner are rescued by three scientists from a nearby weather station, but questions soon arise: why did the aircraft crash, who smashed the radio, and why does the dead pilot have a bullet hole in his back? The rescue becomes a nightmare as the survivors race through the endless Arctic night against time, cold, hunger and a gun-wielding killer. The Oxford Bookworms Library offers original and adapted fiction, non-fiction and plays in seven carefully graded stages, from Starter to Stage 6, taking learners from beginner to advanced level.
