One Last Stop: Collectors Edition McQuiston Casey (2023)

For cynical twenty-three-year-old August, moving to New York City is supposed to prove her right: magic and cinematic love stories do not exist, and the only sensible way to go through life is alone. She cannot imagine that waiting tables at a twenty-four-hour pancake diner and moving in with too many strange roommates could change that. Her subway commute seems destined to be nothing more than a daily trudge through boredom and electrical failures, until she meets Jane, a dazzling, charming and mysterious girl on the train. Augusts subway crush soon becomes the best part of her day, but Jane is not merely dressed like an old-school punk rocker. She has literally been displaced in time from the 1970s, and August must use everything she tried to leave behind to help her. This magical, sexy and big-hearted romance follows August as she discovers that the impossible may be possible and does everything she can to save the girl lost in time.
