On Spine of Death Berry Tamara (2025)

Tamara Berrys award-winning cosy crime series continues with another page-turning murder mystery. After solving their first murder, bestselling author Tess Harrow and her teenage daughter Gertrude decide to make Winthrop their home. Their cabin is repaired, and they begin converting the family hardware store Tess inherited from her late grandfather into the towns first independent bookstore. When renovations uncover bones from a cold case and send them toppling onto Tesss head, the work comes to a halt. With the entire town convinced that Tesss grandfather was a serial killer, she calls in a fellow horror author for help. Together, they devise the perfect story to make all the clues fit and solve a mystery more than thirty years in the making. This cosy murder mystery is recommended for fans of Richard Osman and The Marlow Murder Club, and follows Buried in a Good Book in the By the Book Mysteries series.
