Numeri – Biblickm textem provz Josef Skora Skora Josef (2025)

The Book of Numbers offers a guide to the journey through the wilderness, from slavery to responsibility, as well as an eloquent mirror of an age marked by war, turmoil and division. The chosen people struggle with God, while todays readers wrestle with the cruelty of war carried out in Gods name. Yet the hardest battle takes place within us. Theologian Josef Skora presents the often overlooked but surprisingly relevant Fourth Book of Moses, accompanied by illustrations by Daniel Pastirk. The biblical text is presented in Czech in accessible daily portions, accompanied by reflections from inspiring contemporary figures and commentaries that bring it into the arena of todays world. The Bible is read here and now.
