Nokturna (2026)

In this Czech-language graphic novel, Spanish comic artist Laura Prez explores the melancholy and magic that arrive with dusk. A mysterious narrative connects glimpses from the lives of people making their way through the night: a traumatic collision on a poorly lit road, a bedtime story that erases the boundaries between reality and fantasy, and a walk through the forest leading towards strange symbols. The journey takes us beneath the branches of ancient trees, through dreamlike landscapes and the shadowy corners of rooms. At the same time, these stories question the truth hidden behind closed eyelids and reveal the nature of fear and loneliness, along with the elusive aura of the night-time world.
